There are many things to see in Sanilac County. We have a rich heritage and there are many opportunities to see the history of the county. We also have many hidden treasures to find and enjoy.

Summer Wind Farms is a sanctuary and educational center for exotic birds, animals and reptiles. Its purpose is to provide a facility where these animals can live out their lives in a safe, well cared for, environment. With educational tours, the public has a rare opportunity to see these animals up close.

Summer Wind Farms is a 140 acre facility which houses over 200 birds, animals and reptiles. We receive help from volunteers and some funding from charitable donations. 100% of these donations are used directly for the welfare of the animals and to improve their quality of life.
